The ranch teems with wildlife. Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail deer, Black Bear, and Turkey are the most numerous.
We now offer limited trophy hunts for Turkey, Bear, Deer, Elk and mountain Lion.
Elk hunts will begin in the late fall of 2011, spring Turkey hunts begin April 13th 2011, Bear hunts will begin early fall 2011, All permits are private and distributed by Britton ranches. The hunter / hunter's will also need to purchase a New Mexico state hunting license for the specific animal they choose to hunt.
Fishing on Brushy canyon ranch is private, therefore there is no need to purchase a NM state fishing license.
Our guests will be able to enjoy fishing for trophy size Rainbow, Brown and Brooke trout in our private spring fed lakes, or you can also try your luck Trout fishing in the near by lakes, Maloya and Alice located just five miles east in Sugarite canyon state park.
During the summer months (June- mid August) we now offer camping, hiking, ATV trail rides, mountain biking, wildlife watching tours,fishing and horse back riding.
